Fuel Adjustment Factor (FAF)
Our fuel adjustment factor for Door – Door Customers is calculated on basis of Statoil Norge AS, truck diesel prices the 1st of each month. The calculated FAF will be valid from the 1st of the following month, i.e: the FAF calculated the 1st of January is valid from 1st of February until 28th of February.
All freight rates are exclusive of FAF. The FAF may be adjusted without notice in response to fluctuations in fuel prices and rate of exchange.
The price for truck diesel in accordance to Statoil Norge AS was NOK 12,40 per litre 1st November 2008, which results in a FAF of 21,0% for December 2008.
